Garden tools

When starting a garden, gardeners will not only need to purchase seeds, but will also need to purchase garden tools. Important tools include rakes and shovels. Garden shears are also helpful for pruning shrubs that have gotten out of hand.

Gardeners will also need to purchase smaller garden tools. These are referred to as hand tools. One important hand tool is a watering can.

Garden tools can easily be rendered useless if they are not properly maintained. In order to avoid rust, keep garden tools inside a shed or garage. If the tools do get wet let them dry before putting them into storage.
